Mary Kay’s research has focused on developing instrumental methods for measuring various species of metals, metalloids and radionuclides using separation methods coupled to ICP-MS. While the ICP-MS systems are used primarily for analysis of environmental samples such as water/soil solutions, a significant number of samples now involve research with clinical and biological materials.
