Justin Pidot co-directs the environmental law program at the College of Law and writes about a range of environmental and natural resources law topics. He has been a political appointee in two presidential administrations, serving as general counsel for the White House Counsel on Environmental Quality during the Biden Administration and Deputy Solicitor for Land Resources for the Department of the Interior during the Obama Administration. He also served as an appellate lawyer at the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and clerked for Judge Judith W. Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
