David Quanrud
Associate Research Scientist, Natural Resources and the Environment, CALS
Dr. Quanrud studies sustainability of water resources, with specific interest in water quality issues. Recent areas of activity include inter-basin water transfers, urban ecological sustainability in arid regions, and fate of microplastics in an effluent-dependent stream. His current research focuses on understanding light-driven processes (photolysis) for degrading emerging trace organic contaminants in wastewater effluent in engineered and natural systems (constructed wetland, effluent-dependent river).
