Wesley Howden

My name is Wesley (Wes) Howden. I recently received my Ph.D. from the University of California San Diego and will be joining the department of economics as a postdoctoral researcher in the fall of 2021. I will be representing the department at the Arizona Institutes for Resilience (AIR). My research is centered on the economic consequences of climate and environmental change. My most recent research in progress analyzes the impacts of land-use changes on flood insurance claims made through the National Flood Insurance Program and the associated spillovers.
